The Experience

A day built around contrast, control and environment.

The day moves deliberately from scale and depth to detail and light. The Pit begins with a vertical recreational profile where the water column, halocline and hydrogen sulfide layer create a strong sense of depth. Nicte-Ha then changes the pace completely. Its shallower, semi-open environment is defined by clear freshwater, aquatic vegetation, jungle roots and natural illumination. Rather than repeating a similar cavern profile, the pairing places two different visual languages side by side: a deep shaft with layered water and a delicate underwater garden. Precise buoyancy remains important throughout and is particularly relevant on the second dive, where controlled movement helps protect plants and fragile formations.

Dive 01

The Pit

A vertical recreational profile to approximately 30 m. Depending on conditions, light beams may reach into the deeper freshwater while the descent encounters a halocline and the distinctive hydrogen sulfide layer.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption

Dive 02

Nicte-Ha

A shallow, semi-open setting with crystal-clear freshwater, aquatic plants and lilies, jungle roots and delicate cavern formations. Natural light shapes the view, while careful buoyancy and finning protect the environment.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption
