The Experience

A day built around contrast, control and environment.

Dos Ojos offers a strong introduction to recreational cavern diving for certified divers with appropriate control and comfort. Both dives remain relatively shallow, yet the visual experience changes noticeably from one route to the next. Barbie Line emphasizes width, natural light and a clear connection with the cavern entrance. Bat Cave shifts toward a more enclosed atmosphere and an interior air chamber. Completing both routes allows the diver to read the same limestone system in two ways: first through open, illuminated passages, then through a darker sequence where the formations and overhead environment feel more intimate. The result is a balanced double dive focused on architecture rather than depth.

Dive 01

Barbie Line

Broad passages and abundant natural light make the route visually open. Clear freshwater reveals stalactites, stalagmites and limestone columns while maintaining a strong visual connection to the cavern environment and its entrances.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption

Dive 02

Bat Cave

A darker route with a more enclosed visual feeling, detailed limestone formations and an internal air dome. The chamber is a bat habitat, so bats may be present above the water during the planned stop.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption
