The Experience

A day built around contrast, control and environment.

One of the strongest contrasts in the collection begins inland and finishes near the Caribbean coast. Angelita is a deep, atmospheric first dive, with a vertical descent toward a hydrogen sulfide layer and submerged organic material at approximately 30 m. Casa Cenote then opens the environment completely. The second dive follows a shallow, open-air channel beneath mangrove roots, with abundant natural light and a direct connection to the sea. Freshwater and saltwater interact here, creating a halocline and a coastal ecosystem where aquatic life may be encountered. The pairing moves from a surreal layered landscape to an accessible, light-filled channel without suggesting that conditions or wildlife are guaranteed.
