The Experience
A day built around contrast, control and environment.
This pairing changes atmosphere completely between dives. Angelita begins with a deep vertical profile and an unusual underwater landscape shaped by a hydrogen sulfide cloud, organic material and submerged branches. The planned recreational dive approaches approximately 30 m rather than the cenote’s full depth. Carwash, also known as Aktun Ha, then brings the day back into brighter, shallower water. Sunlight, aquatic plants, lilies, roots and limestone formations replace the darker visual language of the first dive. For divers already familiar with a simpler cenote setting, the combination offers a considered progression from an atmospheric deep descent to a more open freshwater garden.
Dive 01
Angelita
A vertical recreational profile to approximately 30 m, where a hydrogen sulfide cloud, submerged branches and other organic material create an unusual layered landscape. The plan does not involve descending to the cenote’s full depth.
Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption
Dive 02
Carwash / Aktun Ha
A brighter cavern environment with an approximately 12–15 m maximum profile. Depending on conditions, natural sunlight reveals aquatic plants, lilies, roots, freshwater life and limestone formations.
Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption
