The Experience

A day built around contrast, control and environment.

Natural light plays two completely different roles across this day. At The Pit, it enters from high above and may form vertical beams through deep freshwater, emphasizing the scale of the cenote and its layered profile. Casa Cenote uses light more openly: sunlight moves through mangrove roots and across a shallow channel connected directly to the sea. The change is not only visual. The second dive introduces freshwater and saltwater interaction, a halocline and a coastal ecosystem where aquatic life may be present. After the deeper first profile, Casa Cenote provides a more relaxed depth while still asking the diver to observe a distinctly different environment.

Dive 01

The Pit

A recreational descent to approximately 30 m within vertical architecture. Depending on conditions, natural light may form deep beams while the profile passes a halocline and approaches the hydrogen sulfide layer.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption

Dive 02

Casa Cenote

A shallow open cenote channel framed by mangroves and influenced by its ocean connection. Freshwater and saltwater interaction creates a halocline, and aquatic life may be present depending on conditions.

Planned for approximately 45–50 minutes per dive, depending on conditions and air consumption
